Important Information for Challenge of Champions

VERIFY YOUR DIVISION:

  • Log into your Smoothcomp account or download the new Smoothcomp Mobile App.
  • Check that your age, gender, weight, and skill level are accurate.
  • Edit your profile if needed and save your changes.
  • Contact your TSMA school staff if you need help.


⚠️ You must be in the correct weight class or you risk disqualification.

RING ASSIGNMENT:

  • Ring/mat assignments and estimated match times are posted on Smoothcomp by Friday before the event.
  • Plan to arrive at your assigned ring at least 45 minutes before your scheduled match time.
  • Match times are estimated and subject to change. Monitor your Smoothcomp account for updates.


You will receive any important notifications at this email address and/or the mobile phone number you have listed on your Smoothcomp account.

Arrival times will be emailed to participants based on age and division. These are recommended times to help manage flow and wait times.
NOTE: Your actual competition time may be much later depending upon where your bracket is located within your age group’s event.

CHECK-IN PROCEDURE:

All competitors, spectators and staff will pass through the check-in booths located in the lobby. 

  • Adults competing: Receive a hand stamp (no admission fee), then report to your ring.
  • Little Tigers & Tigers: Parent/guardian first pays spectator fee, then goes to the ring.
  • Staff & Judges: Receive a stamp for free admission and report to the designated area

 

SPECTATOR ADMISSION:

  • Spectators (Adults): $25
  • Children 15 & Under: Free cash per person
    • 4% fee applies to credit card payments

 

WEIGH-INS (MANDATORY):

A mandatory weigh-in will take place at the station closest to your assigned competition ring.

  •  Upon arrival at the arena, proceed directly to the nearest weigh-in station for your ring. The earlier you weigh in, the greater the chance that any necessary adjustments to your division can be made.
  • Competitors must be wearing their full competition uniform during weigh-in.
     You must not exceed the maximum weight for your registered division — doing so may result in disqualification.

 

Glove Requirements: (Kickboxing/MMA):

10 yrs & Under

6 oz minimum

11-14 yrs

10 oz minimum

15 yrs & Over

14 oz minimum

SPORTSMANSHIP & RULES:

  • At the Challenge of Champions, we take sportsmanship very seriously!
  • Please remember that the decision of the judges is final and any competitor acting in an unsportsmanlike or disrespectful manner will be automatically disqualified. 
  • Other ways to receive an Automatic Disqualification are:
    • Failure to make the weight limit for your division
    • Violation of protective equipment rules
    • Use of intentional illegal techniques or
    • Obvious disregard for the rules
  • All spectators including parents must adhere to the above sportsmanship standards as well, otherwise they will be asked to leave the arena and lose the privilege to watch the competitor/child they came to support.
